The Belskiner-Class shuttle was the main personnel transport of the Remsian Republic. Featuring two Ion drives for propulsion at sublight speeds. It was designed to fit into alcoves inside numerous Remsian ships, and it was compatible with numerous standard designs in airlocks.
It was armed with an array of weaponry. Two dual laser cannons mounted on the chin of the craft were its primary armament. Dual ion cannon turrets rested on the top of the ship, and two dual heavy laser cannons sat on the port and starboard sides for defense. Standard configuration had the ship separated into three compartments a cockpit which housed four seats and the controls for the ship, a central compartment lined with 4 rows of benches for troops, and a rear compartment for holding light vehicles and cargo.
A variant of the Belskiner, featured a redesigned interior to transport important individuals as a diplomatic shuttle. Instead of a troop compartment the shuttle had two small staterooms that would allow for passengers to be transported over long distances comfortably. The two heavy laser cannons were removed in this model, to facilitate a less, aggressive look. A third variant removed the troop compartment for a larger cargo area for running blockades and armed cargo runs.
