Tm-87 Combined Effects Munition

The Tm-87 Combined Effects Munition was a cluster bomb used by the Remsian Republic. weighing in at 927 pounds and with a length of 234cm and a diameter of 40cm it was in and of itself not very imposing looking. However, held within the Tm-87 were 40 "sub-munitions" wrapped around a central section of the bomb in groups of five. Each sub-munition was roughly equal to a Thermal Detonator in yield. Once released from the main weapon small sensors and control fins guided the bomblet towards a heat signature that registered as a vehicle, or a preloaded target. Once finding its target it would detonate its small 2 pound tactical nuclear charge just above the surface of its target. If the bomblet could not find its target it would detonate harmlessly in the air, unless programed to carpet bomb an area.
