The Strum Gunship was the very first military design produced by the Therali-Templar Institute, that would become TTI. Built to be used on Anothelis at first as a ferry of sorts it was quickly updated with weapons and military equipment for use in the field should the Templars need to go to war. Equiped with a dual laser cannon and 6 hard points for offense it had a tough bite, but it also featured a rear mounted ion cannon turret for defense.

After the introduction of the Arla-class Heavy Dropship the Strum's role as a gunship was reduced and its production halted. Occasionally a Strum would be assigned to duty with a group in action, fulfilling varying roles but for the most part, they sat in military depots on Remsi Prime
