The Statute of Hospitality was a law that the Templars had that stated that any individual, regardless of their allegiances, would be granted asylum inside of the Temple of Twilight, as long as they bore no ill will towards the Templars themselves. The law also stated that no Templar would expect to be granted room and board by any individual unless they provided that individual with compensation in some form or another.
