The Star Hawk-class Interceptor was a light starfighter produced by the Mikaru Clan of Shipwrights. It was powered by a small fusion generator, and propelled by two ion drives (not to be confused with Twin Ion Drives). It was armed with only two laser cannons. The ships design was spartan, with a very light shield generator similar to the one in the RZ-1 A-wing interceptor. Its design was very aerodynamic, perfectly formed for atmospheric flight. During atmospheric operations it could out preform most other fighters.
