The RX-15 Mobile AO Cannon was a Mobile version of the Stationary Anti-Orbital Neutron Cannon. While just as powerful as its emplaced brother it has a longer recharge rate due to not being attached to a larger or several reactors. The forward drive unit was part of the RX variable chassis line.
The Role of the RX-15 was very similar to the SPHA-T of the Clone Wars, although smaller and much more maneuverable. Like the SPHA it could have its Neutron Cannon switched out with a Turbolaser or an Ion cannon but the standard production model featured a Neutron Cannon due to its nature as an effectiveness anti ship weapon.
