Templars of Twilight

Like Prefabricated Garrison Bases the Polaris-class Prefabricated Base is a structure, prebuilt, and transported to its location of use. Unlike its inspiration, its launched all together, and lands of its own power. Though the Templars built these structures, as they wished to be prepared, only 5 were ever built because conquest was not their purpose. Four of the five were carried inside Templar II-class Star Destroyers.

The base was approximately 20 meters shorter than an Imperial Garrison length and width and approximately seven for height. Due to advancements from the Imperial Garrison's creation to the inception of the first Polaris, they were able to hold slightly more cargo and equipment than their brethren and additional systems, like Ion and Repulsor engines.

These additions make the Polaris something the old Imperial Garrisons weren't, mobile. The Ion Engines allow it to move itself about in low orbit, and from a ship, and its repulsor engines can move it about a planet to new locations. The Ion engines also allowed it, when its purpose was finished, to move off the planet and back to its carrier ship.

The Polaris was capable of various roles and placing itself in various locations, its repulsors systems let it remain 10 meters in the air, but it could also land on level or near level ground and it could also float on water.
