Operation Angel fall was the Twilight Alliance Counter Strike operation against the Sith following the Battle of Utapau. Using Sith and Imperial ships captured during the battle of Utapau, 13 in total the alliance planed to decimate what they assumed was the Sith headquarters. The ships were programed to crash into the surface of Roon at the center of the Sith presence on the world. The resulting detonation of their reactors and munitions left a several kilometer wide crater on the planets surface.
The Operation was primarily the brainchild of Vincent Mikaru, who saw the action as a necessary step to stabilizing the galaxy regardless of the cost. Initial calculations including the detonations of 13 hypermatter reactors and numerous munitions, including several nuclear mines left over from the previous battle the Alliance estimated several thousand kilometers of damage. However the forces at the planet managed to destroy majority of the ships before they reached their targets resulting in only two successful strikes over the location of the Sith Headquarters on the planet.
Following the Operation the Alliance forces, using hyperspace coordinates provided by Dade Leviathan jumped towards Anothelis in hopes that some of the Imperial forces would follow the retreating forces into the waiting Ambush.
