The Niflheim Relay Station

The Niflheim Relay Station was an orbital station located over the mining colony Hvergelmir on the world Niflheim. The station was located in low orbit over the planet allowing for ease of transfer of materials to and from the surface. The stations primary purpose was to process the import and export of materials, supplies, and resources.

The station was large enough to house 100,000 tonnes of supplies, 5,000 personnel, and included two 'cradles' that could house large transport ships and even facilitate minor repairs to ships. The station was powered by a large QuadFusion Reactor which also fed power to the station defense systems. For defense, the Station had 12 defense lasers, a wing of starfighters, and three independent shield generators.
