The March of Mephisto II was an Echani Battlecruiser and Flagship of the Second Eshan Defense Fleet and later the Fleet of Honorable Retribution. It was one of many ships of previous designs fitted with magnetically launched ballistic weapons to pierce the shields of combatants, and in result was very effective against Yuuzhan Vong ships as the rounds were unguided and could be 'arced' using the Yuuzhan Vong's own defensive fields against them.
The Ship would continue to be used as an Echani Flagship through out their history, and into the Sith-Imperial War where its Ballistic weapons were again used in an era where Particle Shields left targets wanting.
