Ivory Dagger I Edit
During the Bothan Assault on Remsi Prime in the year 100aby the Ivory Dagger was struck by heavy weapons fire while defending the planet from the unprovoked assault. The Cockpit Escape Pod system activated and detached from the rest of the fighter before it was totally destroyed, saving the life of Vincent Mikaru I.
Design Edit
The design premise of the Ivory Dagger II was to simply rebuild the Ivory Dagger with minor modifications to make it more likely to survive combat. The modifications included a custom built QuadFusion Reactor that produced roughly 20% more power than the previous incarnation but with baffled systems to dampen energy leakage that could lead to easier target locks. The Shields were reinforced around the fighter granting 10% more defensive coverage, and an additional 5cm of Ablative Armor was added around the hull which increased the bulk of the fighter. And two of the Laser Cannons were replaced with two 30 x 173mm Asynchronous Linear-induction Cannons to damage ships who's particle shields were designed to block slower larger impacts.
High Mobility Aerial Tactics ModeEdit
High Mobility Aerial Tactics Mode or HiMAT Mode is a feature unique to the Ivory Dagger II, in regards to Remsian Republic ships. While the ships the S-foils folded the Ivory Dagger II's Ion Boosters functioned on a very low boost setting at all times, and featured thrust vectoring veins, granting it an incredibly high maneuverability rating. This also attributed to a very high powered Inertial Dampener system. The maneuverability of the Ivory Dagger II in this mode could out preform most high speed fighters, it could perform a Immelmann Loop in under three seconds at high speed. It was based on a Mikaru Corporation fighter upgrade of the same name.
