The Transcendence was a modified Luminous-class medium cruiser produced by the Mikaru Shipwrights and quickly modified by TTI. Due to Sith interference, mainly that of Darth Insipid with both the Templars of Twilight and the Mikaru Clan and the existence of Vincent Mikaru I as a member of both the two organizations joined forces to deal with the Sith. The Transcendence was the center of that union.
History[]
Production[]
The Transcendence was originally going to be a normal Luminous-class medium cruiser, to be used by the Templars as a showcase of the design. Construction began on the ship in 99 ABY in the shipyard over Centax-3 and was completed just before the incident in which Insipid insinuated the Mikaru clan in killing witches on Dathomir.
Modification[]
After the incident, secretly Vincent Mikaru I arrived at the Mikaru Tower, revealing himself to be alive though chronologically over 100 years old. Vincent informed the Sovereign, Artus Mikaru of Insipid, and that he had likely manipulated the Sith into framing the Mikaru's in association with criminal activities, and that it was them that was involved with the bombing of the Shipyard.
The Mikarus, after deliberation, decided to join the Templars in finding these Sith, fully clearing their name, and dealing with the Sith and Insipid, as he had escaped the Averard Penitentiary. To do this, the only capital ship available to the Mikaru Clan, as the Templars couldn't use their Templar-class Star Destroyers outside their space yet, was taken to the Templar Fleet Shipyards over Anothelis and retrofitted with additional weaponry, in the form of missile launchers, and an expanded hanger, and various other improvements. In the end, the Transcendence was modified to the point of being equal in power to an Imperial II star destroyer.
