Ragnarok was a planet in the Jotun System in the Midgard Star Cluster. Due to the star Jotun's tendency to give off solar flares that expand within the orbital paths of the first two planets Ragnarok was flooded with radioactivity. The plant life on Ragnarok has evolved to thrive on this ultraviolet radiation, but it has kept even the most basic forms of animal life from forming.
As such Ragnarok was an enimga, a blue green world, full of vegetation, with a breathable atmosphere, that no life can live on. In prior to 100ABY the Templars laid claim to the planet, using it as a testing ground for weapons that they could not test around others safely. Ragnarok occasionally shifts close to the orbit of Jotunheim the Third planet of the system. During these times Ragnarok can be clearly seen from the surface of Jotunheim, close enough to make out oceans and mountain ranges.
