Background Info[]
The A-DH-II Arla-class Heavy Dropship was a Jack-of-All Trades unit like most of the Templar Military vehicles and vessels. Capable of carrying a small squad of troopers into a dropzone, and supplying fire support it was classified as a Heavy Gunship/Dropship, but was in fact equipped to deliver artillery barrages from its heavy missile pods, and dealing anti-air fire with its rotating rocket launching turrets.
At 30.5 meters long and about ten meters less wide it was an average sized dropship, but due to its heavy armor, and weaponry it lacked the room to carry more than 6 troops into a dropzone in normal configurations. A special variation called the A-DH-II/I had its Artillery Missile Pods removed and the ammo compartments removed it could carry 24 troopers.
The third variant the A-DH-II/C had all of its weapons but its dual Blaster Cannons stripped and the troop cargo space converted to have the floor stripped out and winch and tensor systems installed. This version could carry tanks, troop pods, and equipment pods from orbit to planet side, vice versa or anywhere in between.
