The Mobile Refinery known more commonly as the Commitment was a massive ship designed and built for the sole purpose of mining the various resources in the Theralis Sector. While not a warship, its massive shields and dense hull made it impervious to most forms of attack and were strong enough to move at normal speed through dense asteroid belts, deflecting most small stellar particles. The ship was accompanied by several other ships, Mining Cruisers, Mining Tugs, Mining Prospectors, and others
