The Dark Wolf was a heavily modified Derak-class Heavy Prowler built from the ground up for use by Kev-Mas Colcha and Vincent Mikaru during the Infiltration of Coruscant mission. The ships stealth systems were heavily modified, granting it the same stealth abilities as a Revenant-class Stealth-Recon Craft. It was capable of pushing its engines to 62% without compromising its stealth systems.
Its X-32 "Phantom" Cloaking System was specially tuned to give the ship near 100% stealth, at the cost of being able to fire its weapons while cloaked, it however retained its ability to use its shields, something the Revenant-class couldn't maintain. It could even maintain its stealth as it dropped out of hyperspace, granted it needed a second to bring the systems online.
Instead of Drones and Mines the Dark Wolf had its hold reconfigured to hold, maintain, and launch the Ivory Dagger II and Crimson Dagger, later replaced by 2 Vindicator-class Stealth Interceptors. The hold carried the flight equipment of the two ships pilots, enough munitions to reload the fighters twice, and a tensor system to grab and pull the fighters in during mid-flight.
During the mission to Coruscant the ship hovered, cloaked, not far from Sith Temple, supplying the team with secure transmission information and acting as a STARS, and supplying a method of quick retreat. After the infiltration was complete the two 'Daggers' were launched to give the ship support as they flew across the planet, then all three ships flew support for the evacuating Mikaru Clan.
Following the mission the Dark Wolf was refitted to maintain two standard Vindicator-class Stealth Interceptors, and re-assigned to The Office of Naval Intelligences Special Operations group Ascendancy to operate in and around the Chiss Ascendancy.
