The Black Crusader-class Anti-Starfighter Corvette was a small capital ship built by the Mikaru Corporation with the purpose of starfighter defense in mind. The ship was cheap, costing 750,000 credits as compared to other corvettes that were much more expensive. The ship was propelled by 4 Ion drives, that gave it a top speed on par with some heavy star fighters. For armament, it featured 6 heavy Laser Cannons on rotating armatures that could move and track targets in a complete 360^o field of fire around it. It also featured two heavy rotary blaster mounted on the very front of the ship. The craft lacked much cargo space, much of which was taken up by Type-11 Maintenance Craft that were used to do maintenance on the guns as they were very open to fire and repair in the field was often a necessity.
